Our Wagyu experience started at Hartland farm where we acquired a couple of beautiful pink, nicely marbled steaks. We slow-cooked these beauties sous vide style with a quick pan sear in a very hot cast iron skillet. These steaks were tender, juicy, and delicious; my mouth waters thinking about it!

This was my first time ever buying a cow and my first-time trying Wagyu.  Everyone has always talked about how good Wagyu is and I definitely was not disappointed. From grilling steaks to making meatloaf with the ground hamburger, everything has tasted amazing!

The Wagyu steaks were melt-in-your-mouth delicious. I’ve had A5 Wagyu steaks imported from Japan and could not honestly tell the difference between those and the ones from Hartland Farm. I also felt better about the Hartland Farm Wagyu because it’s local, eco-friendly and the owner is one of the nicest, most honest people you’ll ever meet.

Additionally, I was lucky enough to try the ground Wagyu. This was the best ground beef I’ve ever had; the next best I’ve had doesn’t even come close. I would highly recommend Hartland Farm Wagyu.
